Bottom Row: Strawberries, turkey and cheese sandwich shaped like what's supposed to be a ballet slipper, diamond ring and lipstick candy treats.
This was my free hand attempt at a ballet shoe, terrible. She ate the candy lipstick which she thought was a vampire finger and said it tasted funny. She decided to give me the diamond ring so I could save it somewhere special forever and ever.
I know this is not the best or most creative lunch, I am a little rusty. ;)

Penelope jumped up and down when she saw her lunch today. "You made smiley faces, you made smiley faces"!! I love that she is so easily impressed and excited.

Today we woke up to frost and a very cold morning. Time to start bundling up Penelope for school because it looks like our fall is just about over and winter is just around the corner. I decided to make Penelope a beach oasis in her muffin tin today because surprisingly, since I am not a beach person, that's where I wish I was today. I am not ready for snow yet!

As much as I love to cook their are some days that I am just not feeling it, it's mostly when Chris is at work. Today was one of those days, but the little girl has to eat so I made her a very easy, no cook muffin tin meal for dinner today. Hey she got all the food groups! And besides she loved it...

Finally! OK, so I know I haven't contributed to Muffin Tin Monday's in a while. Muffin Tin Mom has stopped having official themes and I wasn't in creative mode today so this muffin tin has no theme. It was however our first on the go muffin tin. Penelope is now going to school Monday's and Wednesday's and eating lunch there on Monday's while I help out as lunch aid so I just wrapped some saran wrap around her the tin and she was able to enjoy MTM with her friends. Everyone was very impressed. ;)

Penelope will be three years old in just a couple of days. WOW! She is growing so fast...Today is day 1 of her 3 day Birthday celebration. :) This evening Chris and I are throwing a surprise party for. She is napping right now and has no idea. We decided to do this early since Chris is headed back up to work tomorrow evening. Tomorrow Penelope will celebrate with her classmates and cupcakes. Then on Wednesday her official Birthday I am going to take her out to lunch and then to the Toy Store so she can pick something out with the gift card they sent her. FUN FUN FUN!!!
Today's MTM theme was Favorites. I decided to fill Penelope's tin with some of the things she has been asking for a lot lately.

I think I did a good job picking some of her favorites because while she was eating she turned to me and said "mommy, you make the best food!" Awww :)
