Slow Cooker Stroganoff

I received a new crockpot from Chris for Christmas, among other things,  and the other night for dinner I made a beef stroganoff in it.

 
Slow Cooker Stroganoff

1 lb. Stew Meat
8 oz. Sour Cream
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
Half Container of Sliced Mushrooms
1 Envelope of Lipton Onion Soup
2 tbs. Ketchup
1/4 Cup of Water
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
 
Season meat with salt and pepper and then brown in a skillet on high with a little olive oil for a couple of minutes to seal in the juices. Place meat in slow cooker and add onion soup mix, ketchup, water, cream of mushroom, mushrooms and sour cream and mix well.


Cover crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours. I served over some low carb pasta but it's yummy served over egg noodles.
