May 03, 2012Well we got back from our trip down to the Oregon coast a few days ago. It was so much fun and we really enjoyed visiting with family. Penelope was especially excited and did not want to leave grandpa and grandma or brother Regan. I thought I would share a few pics of our wonderful vacation.
Penelope loved building sandcastles on the beach and getting her feet wet in the ocean, not something we do in Alaska.
This was her first time in the water. She had a blast swimming in Lake Marie despite the cold and did not want to get out. This swimming experience was later followed by her first time swimming in a pool. She loved it and is excited about taking swimming lessons in the summer although she claims she already knows how to swim, at least with arm floaties.
We also visited the Tillamook cheese factory which Penelope claims was her favorite part of her vacation besides swimming. We stopped in Pacific City on the way to enjoy the scenery.
Next time San Diego!
