What's that smell?
April 23, 2010Tomorrow is national Sense of Smell Day, did you even know we had such a thing? This gave me an idea to do a little sense of smell experiment with Penelope today. I put 6 different scents on 6 cotton balls; Harajuku Love scent, Vinegar, Cinnamon, Coffee, Lemon and Vanilla then blindfolded her and had her say which ones smelled good and which ones were "eeewww yuck". They were all good, even the vinegar. :) Her favorite was the coffee. She really enjoyed this experiment so we will definitely do this again with different scents next time around. I had Regan try to guess each scent while blindfolded and he guessed everything right but unlike Penelope he cringed when he smelled the vinegar. :)
