It's Cold Out There!
January 18, 2012Brrr, it's been cold the last few days. I am talking in the negatives and single digits cold. Last year we had such a mild winter and this year we are freezing.
I made Penelope in Easy Lunchbox today. She is not very keen on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I know right? What kind of kid doesn't like peanut butter and jelly?! So I decided to fancy it up and make her a pecan butter and strawberry rhubarb jam sandwich. Alas, she was not impressed. She did however eat everything else in her box.
Pecan butter and strawberry rhubarb jam sandwich, mixed root chips, dried mango, baby carrots, grapes, and chocolate covered banana.
