I love me some Pasta!
June 01, 2009Oh my gosh! It has been so hot here this last week. It looks like it is finally going to cool off a bit though. I sure hope so!
A couple of weeks ago I won a giveaway on Mom on a Mission blog. I would post the link but it doesn't seem to be working. :( Anyway, I won a Romanos Macaroni Grill Dinner Kit gift package. Apparently these dinner kits are inspired by the chefs of the Macaroni Grill restaurant chain. When I lived in Dallas I use to eat there all the time, unfortunately we do not have one here in Longview, Washington, so I am really excited about these kits. The kits include everything you need to prepare a yummy chicken pasta dinner minus the chicken and they only take about 20 minutes to make. With a nice salad and crusty bread this makes a really speedy family meal. I am looking forward to trying these when Chris gets home next week. My gift package included the 4 kits in the picture along with a stainless steel colander, stainless serving spoon and a cheese grater. What a great prize! I will write up a review when I try one of the kits sometime next week.
Penelope's first word besides momma and then dadda :p is ball. She thinks everything that is round is a ball. She is also saying bear. Pretty soon she is going to be chatting away non stop. Chris is going to enjoy that...it's going to be harder to ignore 2 female voices! ;p
