Looking for some summer fun? Why not visit a local farm. Many farms have fun activities during the summer. There are several farms in our area that offer fruit picking, horse camps, or the opportunity to just bring a lunch and picnic around some beautiful surroundings. Last week Penelope visited a local alpaca farm, The Alpaca Hacienda with her school summer camp. It was her first time riding a school bus so she was pretty excited. They got to tour the ranch and learn all about the cute and furry alpacas, feed them, create crafts, go shopping and enjoy a lovely picnic lunch. She had a blast!
