Look what I picked up when we were at LEGOLAND a couple of weeks ago...
Here is Penelope's lunch for today in her new Lego bento box.
Cajun turkey and cheddar sandwich on a hoagie roll, Spicy Nacho Doritos, baby carrot sticks and an Oreos and cream Handi Snack. Not a very impressive lunch but I had to share the new box!

I mentioned how we had gone to LEGOLAND last week with one of Chris' friends and his son. It was pretty neat, perfect for Kindergartners. Penelope had a blast and Chris and I enjoyed ourselves as well. It is kinda pricey but I had a free child ticket with a purchase of an adult ticket which is a pretty good deal considering child tickets are around 80 bucks! It wasn't overly crowded though and the lines for the rides were pretty short. If you take your little ones I recommend bringing a swimsuit for them. They have a fun little water park area that unfortunately Penelope missed out on. Nevertheless here are a few photos I took of our day...
Top tier: Half a peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich, baby carrots, smores goldfish, chocolate nonpareil.
Bottom tier: Half a peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich, tangerine, cashews and a chocolate nonpareil.
Today was Penelope's first day back at school after a long spring break. Here is her first spring bento in a new box.
Turkey and cheese double heart sandwich, Craisins on heart picks, tangerine segments, senbei with strawberry drizzle and a kiss.

Remember when I found Popin Cookin Japanese edible candy kit? Penelope and I had fun creating our gummy sushi.
When we were at Marukai Value Penelope purchased the above kit with her allowance money. This kit just consisted of chewy candy's that you mold into desserts with the provided molds.
She was very excited about making these tiny edibles, and eating them!
