*CLOSED*Country Bob's Sauce Review and Giveaway

I have been reading a lot about Country Bobs's products on numerous blogs so when I was given the opportunity to review Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce I was eager to see what all the fuss was about. In 1968 Bob Edson created the sauce of his dreams and after several years of giving the sauce to friends and family he began to sell it in 1977. Since then Country Bob's has expended their product line from the Original All Purpose Sauce to include a spicy version as well as a BBQ Sauce and Seasoning Salt.  Country Bob's products can now be found in stores nationwide and they credit this success to God.

From Country Bob's website: Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." We have placed true ownership of Country Bob, Inc. in the hands of God. "Christ is our CEO" and He is an Awesome Boss!

I was given coupons to redeem for free bottles of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce and immediately hit my local Walmart. Country Bob's website has some really good looking recipes online and I just happened to have some Lil' Smokies in the fridge so I decided to make their "Little Party Bites".

1 pound Little Smokies
1 T. diced onion
2 cups Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce
Brown the sausages lightly on all sides in a large skillet. Remove the sausages to paper towels and drain the skillet. Add the onion to the skillet and saute for 1 minute. Stir in Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce. Return the sausages to the skillet turning to coat with the sauce. Simmer until heated to serving temperature.
Yield: 4 to 8 servings.

Really simple and sooo good. As you can see the sauce consistency is fairly thick. It is slightly sweet, tangy with a bit of spice. Chris and I both agreed that it would be good on a lot of stuff, like ribs, steak, burgers and meatloaf. In fact Country Bob's has a recipe for meatloaf using their All Purpose Sauce that sounds really tasty. I am planning to try it later this week. I really wanted to try the spicy version but unfortunately my local Walmart does not carry it. I guess I will have to purchase it online. If you would like to try some of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce check out their product locator to find a store near you. You can also have Country Bob's products delivered right to your front door by shopping online. The people at Country Bob's would also like to bless two of my readers with 2 coupons each for free bottles of Country Bob's Sauce.

To Enter:*CLOSED* Check out some of Country Bob's recipes and tell me which one sounds good.

Deadline:*CLOSED* This giveaway will end on September 13, 2010. I will choose the winners using Random.org. Please leave a valid email address if it is not visible in your profile. US entries only. Thanks and Good Luck!
